The European Commission supported the program when it first started in 2007 as an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Program. All program tracks require applicants to have at least a class 2.2 (Lower Second Class) bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent.

3. Brunel University NSIRC Scholarships
Students from the EU and outside the EU who want to pursue a master’s degree in Metallurgy, Material Science, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Civil/Structural, or Physics are eligible for scholarships from Brunel University, a public university in the UK. Any student with a minimum GPA of 2.2 in UK honors or its international equivalent is eligible for the grant. A scholarship worth up to £30,000 will be awarded to international students, covering their tuition at the currently stated rate plus providing a sizeable stipend from the remaining funds.
4. DeVry University’s International Postgraduate Scholarship
There are several grant levels for the DeVry scholarship, which are determined by the student’s GPA and enrollment status (full-time, part-time, or three-quarters). A higher cumulative grade point average (CPGA) could result in an increase in the award’s value. The scholarship can grant up to $2,500 each semester to full-time students who are enrolled full-time and maintain a 3.25 GPA or above. Students with a GPA of between 2.5 and 3.25 have the potential to earn up to $2,000 per term.
